Every frame, every cut, every emotion.
Half-measures don’t move people. I don’t just want audiences to watch. I want them to feel it.
Stories you can

I’m Joris Noordenbos. I’m a maximalist director fueled by bold visuals, high-energy storytelling, and a serious love for food, kids, and the real moments that connect us all.
Food is where I built my name. Not just the glossy, over-styled kind. I shoot food that feels alive. Food that connects people. Food that reminds you why we gather, why we celebrate, why we indulge. My style is bold, modern, and unapologetically real, driven by energy and rhythm, grounded by lifestyle. Every project is a chance to push the visuals bigger while keeping one foot planted in something honest.
I also work with kids. Some people call it chaos, I call it magic. Years on set have taught me how to capture the wild, beautiful unpredictability of children without losing the story. I work fast, I keep it loose, and I know exactly when to step back and let the real moments shine through. Wide angles, dynamic movement, and a tone that stays playful and light — because that's where the best performances live.
Amsterdam’s the official headquarters, but honestly? The world is my backlot. I live with my wife, an incredible director in her own right, and our two little scene-stealers. Our dinners it goes without saying, are often seasoned with lively conversations on filmmaking.
When a project has the right spark, I'm already reaching for my passport. Adventure isn’t optional… it’s part of the job.
