Joris is a maximalist food and kids director, fusing deep technical mastery, stunning visuals, and strong performances into energetic food commercials that are anything but ordinary.

He directs stories you can almost taste and moments you wish you could jump into. Always bold, modern, and unapologetically real. From high-energy food films to beautifully chaotic kids commercials, every project is about turning emotion, rhythm, and life all the way up.

Based in Amsterdam, fueled by adventure, Joris brings a signature style that’s vibrant, cinematic, and unforgettable.

  • It means no half-measures. Every frame, every cut, every emotion… turned all the way up! I’m here to make people feel something, not just watch it. But it also means I direct like it’s the last project I’ll ever shoot… nothing held back.

  • Sure, food and kids are my specialty. But give me a story with guts, and I’ll bring everything I’ve got. No matter the genre, no matter the challenge.

  • Amsterdam’s the official headquarters, but honestly? The world is my backlot. I live with my wife, an incredible director in her own right, and our two little scene-stealers. When a project has the right spark, I’m already reaching for my passport. Adventure isn’t optional… it’s part of the job.

  • You can absolutely reach out to me directly! I’m friendly, I promise. I just recommend looping in my rep too… they’re way better at calendars, contracts, and reminding me what day it is.

  • With enough coffee, anything is possible. Some call me a coffee snob, others say I just have good taste. But good coffee isn’t optional, for me it’s a must!
